Generic Auto Injectors

A few years back I went fill our sons prescriptions for his Epi Pens. When I got to the pharmacy the young man told me it was going to be $400.  He looked shocked when I said I would take them. What was my choice? We couldn’t take a chance of not having them if something were to happen. Thankfully we had our HSA account and paid for them out of that.

It’s crazy to think that companies can charge so much for a medicine in which people can’t go without.

Thankfully CVS has come out with a generic auto injector.

Hopefully other pharmacies will follow!
